The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, has announced on its official website about a temporary diversion on Salwa Road westbound carriageway at Mesaieed Interchange (Exit 24). The diversion starts on Thursday, 27 December 2018 and lasts for one week to facilitate the completion of all Orbital Road works.
During the temporary diversion that has been in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, traffic heading westbound on Salwa Road towards Bu Samra will be diverted to the parallel Collector/ Distributor Road before Mesaieed Interchange (Exit 24) for a distance of 3 kilometers, and will rejoin Salwa Road after the Interchange.

In this regard, the Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change and request all road users to abide by the speed limit which remains at 80 kph along the diverted route, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
