Qatar: Partial closure on Service road and Al Shamal road for 2 months

 

The Public Works Authority of Qatar “Ashghal”  has announced a partial closure on Services Road and  North Road in front of traffic heading to the North. The closure begins on Saturday 3/11/2018 and continues for two months.

 

In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this closure is to enable the Public Works Authority to complete the development works of Umm Lakhba interchange, Landmark, and the surrounding streets.

During the closure, those heading north on Al Khafji Road can use the first exit at Al-Duhail roundabout instead of using the service road heading directly on the North Road. Then they can use the first exit from the right to reach the Al-Duhail and Al-Duhail petrol stations.

 

Accordingly, the Public Works Authority will install road signs to alert road users of this traffic change and the alternative roads to use. Drivers should abide by the speed limits and follow road signs to ensure their safety.
