Qatar: 10 locations of mobile radar today (Thursday 20\9\2018)

 

The General directorate of traffic announced the locations of mobile radar today, Thursday 20\9\2018 on its official Twitter, which are Al Shamal, Dukhan Shahaniya, Salwa, AirForce Street, Orbital Road, Al Dafna, Al Waab and AirForce Street.

 

Locations of mobile radars today:

 

• Al Shamal (120km/hr)
• Dukhan Shahaniya (120km/hr)
• Salwa (120km/hr)
• Orbital Road (120 km/ hr)
• Al Refaa Street (100 km/ hr)
• F Ring Road (100 km/ hr)
• Al Dafna (80 km/ hr)
• Al Waab (80 km/ hr)
• University Street (80 km/ hr)
• Pearl Road (80 km/ hr)

This awareness-raising role is to ensure road safety and make drivers abide to speed limits in each road. The role of these mobile radars is to record and monitor seat belt violations, over speeding, overtaking from wrong side, and using phones during driving.
