Qatar: 8 locations of mobile radar today (Tuesday 14\8\2018)

 

The General directorate of traffic announced the locations of mobile radar today, Tuesday 18\8\2018 on its official social media platforms. These locations are Al Shamal Highway, Dukhan - Shahaniya, Salwa Road, AirForce Street, Al Dafna, Al Waab, F-Ring Road and Al Wakra.

 

Locations of mobile radars today:

 

1. Al Shamal (120km/ hr)
2. Dukhan - Shahaniya (120km/ hr)
3. Salwa Road (120km/ hr)
4. F-Ring Road (100 km/ hr)
5. AirForce Street( 100 km/ hr)
6. Al Dafna (80 km/ hr)
7. Al Waab (80 km/ hr)
8. Al Wakra (80 km/ hr)

This awareness-raising role is to ensure road safety and make drivers abide to speed limits in each road. The role of these mobile radars is to record and monitor seat belt violations, over speeding, overtaking from wrong side, and using phones during driving.
