GLB from Mercedes.. Baby of the G-Class

Auto Express website and magazine has released information about the new Mercedes GLB. The GLB will offer G-Class’ chunky styling but in compact design, and will sit between the GLA and GLC in size.

Mercedes is aiming for the GLB to complete the range of SUVs and sit between the GLA and GLC, but rather than looking like a the GLA or the GLC, it will look like a pumped up baby of the G-Class.

The original G-Class model has been around since 1979 and has always showed excellent sales figures. despite the very high price of the G-Class, QR 450,000 for the entry-level, the upper class drivers consider it the first choice when they think of an SUV. Yet, the new GLB will usher in a more accessible price point for those looking for a rugged and boxy SUV.
