GMC is showing off with its Sierra Denali

GMC has released few photos for the upcoming 2017 Sierra Denali 2500HD which has an updated front end design featuring a functional hood scoop above the grille.

The hood scoop above the grill could mean that the new and more powerful engine would require more air to come into it to cool it. The premium theme continues within, where Seirra Denali is equipped with both upscale amenities and advanced technologies. Premium Jet black perforated Mulan leather-appointed seating is standard, as are segment exclusive heated and ventilated front seats. A heated steering wheel is also standard, as are unique Denali-branded door sill appliques and headrests.

The Sierra HD and its Silverado HD cousin have fallen behind the competition in recent years, their 765 lb-ft of torque far short of the Ford F-250’s 860 lb-ft and Ram 2500’s bonkers 900 lb-ft. With an all-new F-250 also coming later this year with “the best towing power,” according to Ford, GMC is no doubt looking to close the gap.
