The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the closure of the U-Turn leading to Street 47 at the existing East Industrial Road diversion.
The closure’s implementation is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic starting Tuesday, 26 February 2019 and will continue for 6 months, to facilitate the completion of road works related to the upgrade of the existing East Industrial Road.

During this time, road users will be required to use Streets 52 and 51 as an alternative to reach their destinations, as shown on the attached map.
Southbound traffic on East Industrial Road will continue to use the parallel road as per the previously implemented diversion.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the 60 kph speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
